According to a study conducted by the Political Economy Research Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, over the next decade, nine million new clean jobs will be created as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. We look at it like that’s also the number of new connections that can be made to the ocean. New job creation will include:
Clean Energy – 5,000,000 Jobs
Clean Manufacturing – 900,000 Jobs
Clean Transportation – 4000,000 Jobs
Efficient Buildings – 900,000 Jobs
Environmental Justice – 150,000 Jobs
Natural Infrastructure – 600,000 Jobs
